Karakoy is a stop on the T1 tram line, between Eminonu and Tophane. You can reach it on the same line from Laleli-Universite, Beyazit-Kapalicarsi, Cemberlitas, Sultanahmet, Gulhane, Sirkeci and Eminonu; ferries to Kadikoy and Uskudar leave from the Eminonu pier. Marmaray connects at Sirkeci, and the M2 metro has stops at Haliç and Sisane.
