It reopened in September 2023 after a long restoration, with separate sections for men and women. Topkapi is a stop on the T1 tram line (Kabatas–Bagcilar). Heading towards Kabatas, the stops run Pazartekke, Capa-Sehremini, Findikzade, Haseki, Yusufpasa, Aksaray, Laleli-Universite, Beyazit-Kapalicarsi, Cemberlitas and Sultanahmet, so no change is needed. At Aksaray you can switch to the M1A/M1B metro, and at Sirkeci to Marmaray.
